The Dictionary says;

Well we think it sums us up pretty well.

Can The Cause provide H&SE documents?

Yes, method statements and risk assessments are available upon request.

What is P.A.T. Testing?

Portable Appliance Test (PAT) is an electrical safety test, required by law to be undertaken on all electrical equipment to be used in a public place.  The Cause P.A.T. Test every item of equipment and keep a record of such testing, a copy of which is available upon request.

Will The Cause P.A.T. Test our equipment?

Yes, we are qualified to carry out the testing at our place or yours.

Do you do rigging?

Yes all aspects of rigging are undertaken by The Cause.  We have the relevant rigging qualifications and have ‘flown’ equipment in listed buildings where fixing into the walls and roof are not an option.

How much Public Liability has The Cause?

We have £5,000,000 of public liability.

What is the history of The Cause?

The Cause was created in 1982 in Bridlington on the Yorkshire East coast.

It was primarily a public address hire business, facilitating to the local bands of the time.  The need for rehearsal space and recording facilities lead in a move to York, and an expansion to Sheffield.  By 2004 The Cause was well established over the country providing our clients with the fuss free service they have come to rely on time after time.
